NOTHING IS BIGGER THAN YOU...

"Nothing that happens to you is bigger, greater, or more powerful than you. Remember whose you are!"

We label them as test, trials, and even tribulations; but, the truth is life is a collection or collage, if you will, of experiences that help us to grow and stretch into our truest self. The people that help you to grow are those who give you the greatest resistance, or those who inspire you the most. In either case, the contrast is there to enrich our lives beyond what we could ever imagine.

As I sit here writing this, I reflect on my own challenges and see only the greatness that dwells within me. Not saying that from a place of ego, but rather, a knowingness of the great I AM that dwells within. The God-Spirit that is greater than any adversity that could present itself into my life. The Divine presence that is more connected than any family member could ever be. The Creative Source that is bigger and more powerful than any friend or foe.

My new book is due to release on Mother's Day. It's about the very process of evolving into the Possibility that God created you to be by sharing with you my very own personal journey of trials and tribulations and the painful past that opened up some still soft wounds within my recent challenges. We all have a story, and I realized that in this new work. It is important to share mine in a way that has never been shared before. I know that it will awaken and free many of those who might have experienced similar travesties. This book is proof that NOTHING THAT HAPPENS TO ME IS BIGGER THAN ME; and this goes for you, too!

FEEL THE POWER...

"I AM is the conduit through which the power of God is channeled through us. "

I am the conduit of God's Divine idea...imagine that! If we all thought and believe ourselves to be an expression of a single idea that God sat down and conjured up, what an imagination He has. The fact that He thought us up and then expanded that idea into what we call our lives, is fascinating to me. It would then suggest that each day that I live and express in whatever way I choose to express is a part of that Divine idea. When I don't fully express, or I suppress my greatness then I insult God's power. This is the power that He transmutted to us, each of his ideas. His power is profoundly announced in the statement of I AM whenever we declare what is 'I AM'.

This may seem too metaphysical for most, but, when you come to the realization of what the truth of our existence is, there will be little or no resistance to the concept that when we are truly dependent on the I AM for true expression, life will become filled with everything that is the nature of the I AM, the God that dwells within us.

Imagine if you will for just a moment, that all that you desire or ever wanted to truly expressed with freedom, love, flexibility, generosity, and with ease werer the idea of God trying to express His Power, Himself in this world through you. How privileged that would you feel for that opportunity? How intent you would be to allow its full expression?

There is so much that we need to reconnect with in the truth of who we are --- and once we do, we will experience and FEEL our real power. The real power of the real love that lives within us and would deny us nothing that would be for our highest good and the good of others.

WORDS HAVE POWER...

"My thoughts are expressed with the power of my words."

Words are power...words give life to the thoughts we think. This is has been evident throughout the ages...back to when God himself created the heavens and the earth. "In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God." [John 1:1] Words spoken, backed with conviction and truth are the very sword we have been given to slice out our piece of the pie of life. We move and have our being based on the words in which we speak. Good, bad, or indifferent, our words have the power to create life or create death.

As a lover of words, I have not always been aware of the power that they carry. I had to learn how to orchestrate my words to be the creative power of positivity that I wanted to experience.

When we learn to control our thoughts, the words that flow from those thoughts will give us what we ask and command. It is a simple principle that goes unattended often resulting in experiences that leaves one wondering what went wrong. In this case, I suggest a good long, hard look at the origination of thought and the expression of that thought with the words that followed it up.

Look at the perfect example of Jesus' life...he spoke and it became whatever he spoke. We all have this same power within us --- we simply must acknowledge and learn to use it.

What are you speaking into your life right now? What are you speaking into the lives of those around you? When you look at the gift of words as a tool that can fashion any thing you create, you will then have the full knowledge of the power that has been bequeath to you from the beginning.

Choose your words wisely...then speak them with power and authority.

SUCCESSFUL FAILING...

"You haven't succeeded until you have failed successfully."

Some of the most successful business women and men in the world have one thing in common; they have all failed at one time or another in their pursuit of success. Most have failed multiple times over the course of their journey. Success is working hard at what you’re good at, and the reason so many people fail at becoming successful is because they are trying to do something that is not their dream or purpose.

Over the years, I have started more businesses than I care to count. In retrospect, I perceived myself as a “people pleaser” and my insecurity prompted me into businesses that were not reflective of my true, authentic self. In other words, I ended up doing businesses where I thought people would like or accept me. None of these lasted very long, because I soon tired of trying to please people instead of myself. With each endeavor, I became more aware of what was authentic for me. It was natural for me to help others to become more aware of their talents and inner-strengths. The challenge was finding a way to do this without compromising my livelihood and still be able to give something as a bonus. This would become a search that would last many years, going from bad to worse and back again. Still, I continued searching for that which was expressive of my authentic self.

Successful failing means having a willingness to fail as many times as it takes to get it right – right for you. The distinction of successful failing and just failing is simple: with successful failing you plan the next endeavor without hesitation and expect success. With failing, you quit and return to the status quo, putting your dreams on hold and living a life unfulfilled.

There is one vital lesson in the journey to success that I will share with you now, and that is, do not allow other people to convince you that they know better of your dreams than you do. What will happen is they will eventually sidetrack you and have you traveling down their road to success. You will not be satisfied in the long term and you will discover that you’re on the wrong track. Do not beat yourself up for wasting time. Get back on the right track and continue on your path to success. No one knows better than you, what your potential is and what you are capable of achieving. Get comfortable with this reality and start living successfully.

Shortcuts and success are never spoken in the same sentence, so do not expect to get there quick. Be willing to go through the process of attaining success and you will find this is a great deterrent for failure.

Each failure reveals more of yourself to you and the world. Embrace it…learn from it….and, grow on to the next level.

TEST & TRIALS: Passing or Failing in Life

"The difference between a test and a trial is as simple as a pass or fail."

We all experience ups and downs in our lives. They are reminders of the greatness that we have to prepare for; may not seem like it at the time, but it's true. When we are faced with a test in life, we are being confronted with what is familiar but disguised. When we are faced with trials, the entire experience is unknown and new to us. The tests are there to see if we have learned the lessons. I once heard a saying that struck true within me --- it says, "when you pass the test you don't need the experience." How true, how true!

We are constantly surrounded by experiences that inspire learning, whether we are resistant of not. The thing to remember is that when we are faced with a challenge that seems familiar, we are being tested. What is the answer to the test question? Did you get it this time around? If you are repeating this test, then no, you didn't get it...

On the other hand, if you are faced with a challenge that you have never experienced, then this is something new to you and will stretch you to grow in areas you need to in order to fulfill your life's purpose. These are the tougher of the two, because it forces you to see things within yourself that are sometimes not so appealing. And, as tough as it is to face, we still choose to look away and bypass the lesson. The downside to that is, you will face this again, in a test.

Get the lesson, pass the test and move on to next. Easier said than done, right? Well, here is the upside to going through these tests and trials: you grow! Yeah, I know...growing is not easy...it can be a real pain, literally. But, think of it this way...if you're not growing, then you're stuck. Who wants to be stuck? Not me! I will grow through the pain at all cost to not experience being stuck.

Just like any test, you must be a diligent student and delve into the materials to get a passing grade. No different in life. The clues are there, tap into your higher self and seek the answers so that you can pass and move on to next. There are never periods in our lives when we are not given the answers to the questions of life. We just have to understand our part in taking time to study and ask the right question at the right time.

So, are you in the middle of a test or are you being presented with a new trial? Or, are you simply on a "break" from life...that could be fun - so enjoy it while it lasts.

THE THRILL SEEKER GETS THE THRILL...

"The thrill-seekers NEVER gets bored 'cause they're too busy getting their thrills."

There is nothing worse than listening to someone complain about how boring their life is and that nothing exciting ever happens to them. It's a drain on the energy and it really makes me want to disappear from the scene - quickly!

Excitement is all around us...and if we don't notice it right away, get creative. Find ways to create excitement in your life. I was talking to my son about skydiving...I'm terrified of heights and yet, I want to explore this sport that adrenaline junkies crave. Another thing I want to do is learn archery. Bow and arrow, baby! Wow...these are things that I want to do and have added them to my bucket list.

Thrills can be found in anything, anyone, and anywhere!

Explore the possibility of living a different kind of life, even for a day. That is what possibility living is all about!

HAVES AND HAVE NOTS...

"Don't let the fear of not having be greater than the desire to have...you'll never experience what you want if you do"

Why do you believe that most people do not experience what they desire? You guessed it! Fear. The fear is so strong that it keeps them from what they truly want to experience. Unfortunately, unless they uncover the source of that fear, they will never have those things they most desire to have.

I remember when I lost my home to foreclosure. Yes, this happened, for real! I was devastated. But, when I look back at the experience, I realized that my lost was not solely by coincidence, it was propelled into motion because of my fear. My fear was so strong --- much stronger than my desire to keep my home -- that the result was the lost of my home.

You see, the very thing that I feared would happen, happened. Consciously, I didn't want that to happen, but my subconscious fear was much stronger and over-ruled the situation.

Take this example and use it in your everyday life. What is it that you consciously want to accomplish, experience, or achieve? Do you really believe that you can? Do you notice any level of uncomfortable feelings when you state your desire to experience something? Notice it...because that is your subconscious giving you a signal that there is a block within you that will keep you from having what you want.

When we uncover these internal blockers or fears, they no longer have power to keep us from what we want...we then become free to achieve our goals.

Find within yourself the courage to look at what is keeping you "stuck"...is it the fear of a secure paycheck? is it the attachment to the "stuff"? is it the feeling of inadequacy? Whatever it is --- acknowledge it and then dismantle it from within, and begin to live what you choose.

EXPECT GREAT THINGS...

"The first step to experiencing something is expecting to experience something."

We have all heard the old cliche "expect great things to happen...and great things will happen!" Well, my Kim-ism is conveying the same message - expectation.

Expectation is waiting for something to come about, to manifest. In your mind you already see it as your reality. Think about the moments when you were experiencing great expectation and fully experienced what you were expecting. Wasn't it exhilarating? I know it was --- I have had those moments, too.

Expectation is the wonderous after effect of fully anticipating what you have internally conjured about whatever idea or ideal you have imagined. Imagine that! Imagining something brings with it the expectation of that thing. Now, as all things in the Universe are balanced, there is a flip side to this...what works for good, also works for bad. So, be careful what you conjure as your ideal - your level of expectation will take a turn for the worse and there are no benefits, only results of fear and dread.

Keep the level of expectation high by creating visions that are filled with positivity.

When someone asks you what you expect on any given subject, state it positively -- "I expect it to be a wonderful outcome." "I expect that I will do my absolute best and succeed." "I expect that the experience will be one of growth."

All of these dictate an outcome of positivity --- that is what we should expect in any experience. Start expecting to experience something great...all the time!
